NOLA FoodFest Returns This Weekend

The 8th Annual NOLA FoodFest will bring delectable bites from all over Louisiana–and much of the South–the the Spanish Riverwalk Plaza in New Orleans this weekend.

Slated for Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3, the event will also include plenty of music, as well as a beneigt eating competition between the New Orleans and Jefferson Parish Departments.

Saturday will feature performances from Bo Dollis Jr. & The Wild Magnolias, Dash Rip Rock, Claude Bryant Allstars and Noisewater, while Sunday will showcase Tank & The Bangas, Michael Baptiste & The Real Soul Band, and Little Freddie King.

“Thanks to continued success in New Orleans, FoodFest continues to grow and attract nationally recognized restauranteurs,” said NOLA FoodFest
co-founder and organizer Stephen Rushmore. “This year we’re excited to have special guests checking out FoodFest. The Society of Fellows from The Culinary Institute of America is hosting a weekend getaway in New Orleans and will be stopping by this year to try some hometown eats.”

A list of participating food vendors can be found below, and you can get a look at what they’ll be serving here. A portion of the festival’s proceeds will go to the Cafe Reconcile, a local non-profit that offers hospitality job training. Admission to the event is free.
