Oil Disaster Protest Sunday

[UPDATED] Now that the junkshot and the top kill have failed, oil is continuing to flow into the Gulf of Mexico courtesy of the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster. There will be a protest Sunday at 1 p.m. across the street from Jackson Square (not in the square as initially proposed). Washington Artillery Park – the amphitheater across Decatur Street from Jackson Square – will now be the site for a rally to demand federal intervention to help stop the oil pumping into the gulf.
