An all-star lineup joined a sold out crowd at Tipitina’s for their annual Instruments A Comin’ show, a benefit which according to Tipitina’s “…has provided more than $3.15 million worth of musical instruments to 101 Louisiana schools and after-school music programs,” on Monday, April 25.
The lineup included sets by Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Anders Osborne, Galactic, which had a brilliant sit in by Anders and Big Sam Williams, newly minted Tipitina’s Walk of Fame honorees, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The New Orleans Suspects with special guest Fred Tackett from Little Feat,The Wild Magnolias, Honey Island Swamp Band and the Nth power.
