Photos: New Orleans Film Festival Opening Red Carpet at the Orpheum

The New Orleans Film Festival kicked off on the evening of Wednesday, October 14th at the newly-renovated Orpheum Theater. The film fest opened with a screening of the Chet Baker biopic Born To Be Blue.

Many local, regional and national characters came for the occasion, including Director of Born To Be Blue Robert Budreau, Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhané Wallis, actress and New Orleans resident Laura Cayouette, and many more.

The screening was followed by a Q&A with Budreau and Executive Producer Jake Seal. A second line awaited the guests outside the venue to parade down the Central Business District.
