One of the oldest jazz festivals in the country put another year of music in the books this month, as the 2015 Newport Jazz Festival wrapped up on August 2nd, 2015.
Among the performers were a number of New Orleans musicians, including the great Dr. John, the new Late Show bandleader Jon Batiste, drummer Herlin Riley, Irvin Mayfield with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and more.
Photographer Ken Franckling was there to immortalize the performances.
