Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Collaborate with Emerging Local Act at Voodoo Fest

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will collaborate with an emerging New Orleans act when they perform at New Orleans’ Voodoo Fest this Sunday, October 30.

Which act, you ask? That remains to be seen.

Toyota has also selected three finalists that are now competing for a chance to team up with the iconic New Orleans jazz outfit when they take the stage in the Toyota Music Den. One of those finalists–Faubourg Fouligny, New Breed Brass Band and Tank and the Bangas–will be hand-picked by Pres Hall for Sunday’s collaboration.

All three bands worked with Toyota to shoot original music videos on location in New Orleans in the hopes of winning Pres Hall’s favor. Fans can check out the fruits of that labor via Toyota’s Music Moves You Tumblr Page.

The winning act will be chosen later this week.

Tickets for Voodoo Fest are still on sale. We’re also giving away a pair of VIP tickets to one lucky winner.
