“The Love Sessions” start tonight at Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse in the Royal Sonesta. Mayfield will square off for the next seven nights against Kermit Ruffins with the proceeds from each night going to a different non-profit. Tonight’s show benefiting New Orleans Public Library Foundation has sold out, but tickets are still available for the rest of the series.
