On Thursday, January 21, OffBeat will be holding the 2015 edition of the Best of the Beat Awards. To be honored with the Lifetime Achievement in Music Award is New Orleans iconic band The Radiators.

Following John Swenson’s extensive piece following the Radiators throughout the years in the January 2016 issue of OffBeat Magazine, New Orleans Media Entertainment, producers of New Orleans Live, partnered with OffBeat to create an audiovisual testimony of the band’s history.

The 2016 Best of the Beat Awards will be held at Generations Hall and will feature a Tribute to Allen Toussaint featuring Tony Hall, Cyril Neville, Davell Crawford, David Torkanowsky and more, as well as performances by Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes and Walter “Wolfman” Washington & the Roadmasters.
