Tonight, 7 Walkers play Tipitina’s. The band includes Papa Mali, Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann and George Porter, Jr., and while their self-titled debut album focuses on the band’s love of Louisiana funk, set lists often lean heavily on the Grateful Dead as well. In either case, no song will finish in under two minutes unless someone breaks a string. Here they are performing the Meters’ “Just Kissed My Baby.” Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8.
