Oliver Thomas Part of Treme’s Second Season

Today, Dave Walker at The Times-Picayune announced that the second season of HBO’s Treme will debut at 9 p.m. Central on April 24, and that former city councilman Oliver Thomas will appear in the show as himself.

The season will also include the infamous dust-up when GQ‘s food critic Alan Richman slammed New Orleans’ restaurants and restaurant culture. Richman will appear, and his scenes have been written by Anthony Bourdain, the former chef and host of Travel Channel’s No Reservations.
