Israeli blues dynamo the Ori Naftaly Band returns to New Orleans on February 20. The band, which passed through town last summer to play a show at the Maple Leaf, will take the stage at the Little Gem Saloon on Rampart Street at 8 pm.

Though somewhat unconventional in it’s origins – the Ori Naftaly Band was the first Israeli band to reach the semifinals in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee – the band has recently embarked on it’s third international tour in support of their new album, Happy for Good.
Since the band formed in 2011, lead singer and eponymous frontman Ori Naftaly has been busy churning out three albums and taking the show on the road in between recording sessions. For more tour dates and more information about the band, check out www.Orinaftaly.com.
